How to Make a Complaint

Mold provider talking with a homeowner in a basement in the Columbus area

Last updated: October 2026

Every homeowner who reaches out to Healthuses Mold Help should be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. Below is how to raise a complaint and what we do with it. This page is a general template, not legal advice.

What a Complaint Can Cover

You can write to us about:

  • How it went when you phoned or contacted Healthuses Mold Help
  • How we handled your personal information
  • Anything on this site you find confusing or wrong
  • How a provider we matched you with behaved

Problems With a Provider

The providers in our network are independent companies. They answer for their own estimates, prices, test results, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work done at your house, start by taking it up with the provider directly, and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback on providers helps keep our network honest, and a provider who keeps falling short of what we expect may be dropped. Keep in mind that Healthuses Mold Help cannot resolve contract disputes, give refunds for a provider's work, or decide anything on a provider's behalf.

How to Send a Complaint

Write to contact@healthuses.com and include:

  • Your name and how we can reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The number you phoned or the form you used, if you recall
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what you would like us to do

What We Do Next

We confirm by email that we got your complaint, usually within a few business days. We look into what happened, which may include talking with the provider. Then we write back with what we learned and any steps we are taking.

Still Unhappy?

If our reply does not settle it, write back and ask us to take another look. You can also reach your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. If your state licenses mold assessors or remediators, that licensing agency may be able to help too.
